I am planning a trip to Turkey in mid-january.
Is it hard to get rooms at this time of year? Is it possible to get rooms on a day to day basis?

Any advice would be much appreciated. While searching the web I had came across asiarooms.com ,but I am little confused is it safe to book hotels through the site.

Hotels provide the accommodation you require. Asiarooms is alright.
If you are afraid to transact over the Internet, call the hotel direct.
With facilities like Skype, overseas calls are only a dime.

In Istanbul is really hard to get a room during summer and holidays, but you can try Izmir instead. Is a much smaller city: . Ankara (the capital) is also a place to visit

I have heard that Ankara is nothing compared to Istanbul and that Istanbul is the place to go. Which of the two would you recommend?

Turkey is a very good place to go with friends i recently whent on a stag week away there and we had such a great time the night life is great and there lots to see and do during the day as well.
