Temperatures on the South West Coast in January can be around +10 - +15 degrees during the day, whereas in the East it can be as low as -35 degrees.

In Istanbul is really hard to get a room during summer and holidays, but you can try Izmir instead. Is a much smaller city: . Ankara (the capital) is also a place to visit.
